Alcohol & 18+ Policy

18+ customers only

Royal Mart only supplies alcohol to customers who are 18 years or older.

When entering the Beer or Liquor section, and again when checking out an order containing alcohol, the customer must confirm that they are at least 18 years old.

Legal warning

Under Singapore law, an individual under 18 years old must not buy or attempt to buy liquor.

A breach of Regulation 11 of the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) (Liquor Licensing) Regulations 2015 may be punishable by a fine of up to S$10,000.

Age checks at pickup or delivery

Royal Mart may ask the customer to show reasonable proof of age before handing over alcohol.

Alcohol will not be supplied where the customer is known, or reasonably believed, to be under 18, or where age cannot be reasonably verified.

Online declaration

The website records whether the 18+ declaration was confirmed and the confirmation time as part of the order record.

Making a false age declaration does not remove the customer's responsibility to comply with applicable law.

Availability and licence conditions

Alcohol availability, sale and fulfilment remain subject to applicable Singapore law and the conditions of any relevant liquor licence.

Royal Mart may refuse or cancel the alcohol portion of an order where supply would not comply with applicable requirements.
